Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I current use Kofax Power PDF Advanced to assist in assembling financial and operating reports. By taking reports from multiple sources such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Kofax allows me to bring them into the Power PDF software and assemble them into our monthly operating report. The software allows me to rearrange pages, delete pages and add in headers and footers with page numbers all in an easy and efficient manner.

Pros and Cons

Ease of use.
Efficiently assemble a report from multiple sources ie: word, excel and convert to PDF.
Easily convert documents to editable PDF format and searchable PDF format.

Make it easier to access training by including a training link within the product that takes you directly to instructional videos.

Return on Investment

The most significant impact this software has had is to reduce the turnaround time on putting together financial and operating reports critical to decision making in our business.

Ease-of-Use

I have found that Power PDF has been very easy to learn how to use. In a short amount of time I was able to figure out the general workings of the software which is now leading me to use it more ways and get into the more advanced tools within it.

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC

I have Kofax Power PDF provides great value for the tool that you get. I appreciate that there is no subscription fee as well.

Support Rating

I believe that links within the software that take you directly to training videos and support would be ideal as I find navigating through the current support system to find what I need a little bit time consuming.

The most valuable feature within Kofax Power PDF are both the ability to convert documents to editable and searchable PDFs as well as the great ability to assemble a report by bringing in pages from several sources such as word and excel. The ability to be able to bring in pages from other documents and assemble a report by moving the pages around and adding in page numbers helps immensely.

Likelihood to Recommend

Kofax Power PDF is very useful in many situations. Particularly in assembling documents for report presentation and being able to protect the information/data integrity of the document. I also truly appreciate the function of the software being able to watch a particular folder and automatically convert documents that go into the folder into a PDF format.

Products Replaced

Yes - Adobe Acrobat Pro. Did not like the interface and did not like the fact that you have to have a subscription.
