Overall Satisfaction with Lifesize Video Conferencing

The Icon series is easy to set up and implement.
We use LifeSize across the whole organization. We save a lot of time and money on travel by conducting face to face video conferences on all our projects across the country.

Pros

  • With LifeSize Cloud, getting more people connected is easier than ever. No longer do you require dedicated equipment.
  • Laptops, Tablets & cell phones can now join video conference calls.
  • LifeSize cloud is public facing, very few firewall issues.

Cons

  • There should be some reporting available, who attended, how long they stayed connected etc.
  • The Icon series could use better remote troubleshooting tools. Not being able to see the camera view from remote systems is a step back.
  • When supporting a meeting of 20+ locations it can be hard to locate and unmute a single location. It would be great to be able to mute or unmute any connection as the LifeSize Support Tech for our company.
We have also used LifeSize for Video Interviews.
Large rooms where the speakers move around while presenting their materials is a challenge.
