Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I had no previous experience in making flowcharts by my own. Usually, I drew them and a designer made them look pretty. I made my first chart in a condition to show other people in a couple hours.
I think there is no better tool in the market at the moment to help people in the planning process and make a visual representation of the final result at the end. Modular system, very easy to put together and edit if needed. For me the selling point was a free trial - no credit card info needed, no aggressive marketing pointed at me. I soon stayed as an everyday user. It is worth every cent I pay (have to admit that the price is very reasonable).

Pros

  • Better UX for all the downloading documents process
  • More available templates in the free trial phase
  • Arrow dragging could be made easier
  • Time savings
  • Way faster, beautifully made documents that everybody can understand
  • No need for designers
I considered to integrate it with my Google Drive account but I haven't done it yet. Probably will.
So far I haven't had any need for a support, so no reason to rate it bad.

Lucidchart is way easier to use. draw.io - it is better to download app, Lucidchart works in browser. I don't like my computer crowded with apps.
Perfect for documentation, process and, to be honest, for any other type of planning. Harder to make Ghant charts because they often change and changes like that are easier made in Excel. For all documents that are designed for a long time use without changes, Lucidchart is a perfect tool. Easy to adapt for company visual guidelines.
