Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

It is straight forward and requires little training or learning to get started. I give it an 8 rating because the grouping functionality and text box functionality can take some time to understand how to use efficiently.
I use Lucidchart for Architecture Diagrams, Business Process Flow diagram, and Organization Charts. As a consultant the scope of the use cases can vary client to client, however, I find that Lucidchart always serves my diagramming needs. It is easy to use while engaging with the clients and making changes on the fly.
  • Collaborating with other users in one workspace
  • Providing great templates as a foundation to build a use case diagram/chart
  • Importing logos, external images/videos/audio.
  • Integrating 3rd party apps to sync data real-time in charts/diagrams.
  • The grouping/ungroup functionality could be a bit more streamlined or intuitive
  • Enable users to interact and navigate with just keyboard shortcuts
  • Enable more functionality from the right-click dropdown menu
  • Improved productivity by reducing the number of drafts multiple users
  • Saves time by enabling the business to quickly iterate over designs and having multiple users work in the space, instead of working having separate drafts.
For my daily workflow, 3rd party integrations are not needed to handle the use cases and scenarios that I deal with. However, I have tested some integrations and I can see how they would provide great value and enable more collaboration and connectivity.

Yes

Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

Yes

Lucidchart, draw.io, Miro all deliver the same core functionality of diagramming software. Lucidchart has integration ecosystem, with so many tools/apps (Asana, Google Sheets live connector, Saleforce, etc) that why enterprises and business choose Lucidchart. Compared to Miro, Lucidchart is used more for the data visualization aspects, so it easier, faster, and overall more efficient/effective at creating data visualization artifacts. They provide slightly different things; Miro is utilized more as a collaboration tool to have others bring their ideas to life. Lucidchart has those same collaborative features with the focus on creating data visualization artifacts.
Lucidchart is well suited for any type of large scale diagramming, chart creation, sceanario involving more than 20+ shapes/nodes. Lucidchart is appropriate in any scenario where visual representation is needed to convey or present abstract concepts or future state ideas yet to be created.

In my opinion, a scenario where Lucidchart is less appropriate is when the experience or scenario requires hand drawn or digital art capabilities, such as various brush styles for different texturing. Lucidchart may be able to be the canvas for such a scenario, but I think it's less appropriate.
