Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Luigi's Box is primarily used as an internal ecommerce search engine, secondarily as a merchandizing tool for search. We need our internal search tool to be able to handle different types of searched information - products, categories, brands, articles etc. and be able to approach each data type individually, in order to fully fulfill our business needs. The search solution is also heavily used for search merchandizing, where highly targeted campaigns based on specific keywords are being launched. This tool is making it easy to keep track of these campaigns, launch and end them without any heavy technical involvement.

Luigi's Box is much easier to set up and maintain. Most features are ready to go without the need to study extensive documentation or do additional training. It does not allow you the flexibility to change EVERYTHING right away.

Luigi's Box is very suitable for everyone from a small company without any technical expertise to a larger company with more specific needs. It takes the burden of setting most of the relevancy itself and does not require the customer too dive deep into the topic of search relevance. It is not suitable for a company that wants to be 100% in charge of their whole search setup. There are some settings that are not possible to change without needing Luigi's Box IT support.
