Overall Satisfaction with LumApps

In my workplace, we use LumApps as our company intranet. Which helps us to communicate with the wider company. Allowing employees to search for and find information such as recent company news, articles, other employees' contact details, job positions, recent and upcoming training, and the team-managed pages that may be relevant to them.

Pros

  • Visually looks great
  • Gives lots of options for page design
  • Makes it easy to manage users and access

Cons

  • The search functionality for groups is not there
  • Time saved with emailing news to employees as we point them to our LumApps site
  • Time saved on relaying new policies to employees as we point them to our LumApps site
LumApps is easy to use once the initial effort is put in to learn the back end. From a user's perspective, it's simple to use.
From the integrations we use (workday) LumApps works flawlessly.

Very suited to be used as a company intranet. As far as not appropriate I'm not sure as we do not use it for anything else.
