Overall Satisfaction with Magnolia

Proximus is using Magnolia CMS for 3 different projects. I am working on all of them. Coordination with businesses and informing them that sometimes their ideas are not feasible.
  • Update content quickly
  • Introduction of the new site
  • Template engine (FreeMarker easy to use)
  • Split content into workspaces
  • Publishing
  • Move content from one environment to another
  • Magnolia 6 is really good.
  • Magnolia 6, [however, in our experience], is not tested properly from their side and we have found bugs.
  • Magnolia provides a lot of templating functions.
I [have used] Magnolia for 4 years and it is easy to use it.
As per my understanding and knowledge, there are other CMS platforms faster than Magnolia. The filter chain has an impact [on] page load.
Proximus was using Magnolia when I started working.

Do you think Magnolia delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Magnolia's feature set?

Yes

Did Magnolia live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Magnolia go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Magnolia again?

Yes

Content can be published in a few minutes. Website workspace is the most important and the communication between other workspaces is easy. In the worst case, publishing may fail due to locked nodes.
