Overall Satisfaction with Marketo

It is being used in a department for website personalization, email marketing, lead management, events, and landing page creation/management.
  • Very helpful customer community with quick response times
  • Support is friendly and willing to help, but is not very efficient in troubleshooting

Increase sales in frontier markets, cross-sell, increase renewals and online enrollments. We sync Marketo with Salesforce to nurture leads/prospects in our CRM.
MailChimp's email reports are much more intuitive and easier to read - provided the information marketers want in a clean and simple report. While not used at such a large scale as Marketo, MailChimp was very easy to use and required a lot less training.
Marketo is great for email marketing and landing pages associated with events or email campaigns. The website personalization capabilities are limited and have several issues - more work than it's worth. The amount of time spent on troubleshooting RTP campaigns would be better spent building out personalization in a user's CMS.
