Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Visual Studio Code

We use Microsoft studio code on all our projects. The developments are based on Node.js/Angular/MongoDB...NativeScript.
The simplified configuration for TypeScript, the perfect integration of Angular, the extensions, and the console all make it the ideal tool for our developments on Ubuntu Linux.

  • Angular Schematics, CLI integration.
  • Beautify code.
  • Rest client.
  • Local Pack.
  • Git integration.
  • Could be a little lighter in memory use.
  • Visual Studio Code is free, so the return on investment is immediate.
Visual Studio Code is lightweight. The community is important and grows every day. It is easily configured.
It works perfectly on our Linux workstations. The other IDE mentioned do not combine all these advantages.
Microsoft Visual Studio Code is perfectly suited for collaborative use, but also for isolated use. There's been no problem on our PCs under Ubuntu Linux / MEAN Stack.
