Overall Satisfaction with Miro

We are using day to day, for creating better collaboration between design, product, and development. We put all our process charts in it. We create our Road maps for org visibility. Running Design workshops and creating wireframes with Developers and Product Owners. Miro helps us break the wall in between departments and help us to move fully remote.
  • Device Integration.
  • Easy user experience.
  • Having a open platform to everyone.
  • File Organization.
  • Permission controls.
  • Licensing.
  • Allowing remote work is positive.
  • Collaboration is a positive.
  • Getting feedback on process is a positive.
The project should start with Miro boards which are for sure, however, after a while, the importance of Miro fades away because of missing Figma integration or Jira integration. As designers, the importance of Miro starts from ideation and process, however, Development and Product use it more on Alignment. And it is really important for them to communicate with the executive team.
Missing Jira and Figma integration is a big gap in Miro. The learning curve for Product and Development is really minimal, so 3 points lost are coming from Jira and Figma integration. It is really important for us to be everyone in the same mindset and understand what's going on with the product.
Miro helped us tremendously. It allowed us to be fully remote org and we have a clear location we can keep all of our processes and workshops in one place. Learning was really easy for Products and Developers. With that ease, we were really fast to move forward with the new structure.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly) and FigJam
Ease of use and past experiences of all the team members.
Figma, Zoom, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
Having Collaborative sessions between different departments is a huge benefit of having Miro. Running workshops and doing user testing is really easy and helpful. Doing full wireframing is really hard in Miro. There is no integration with Figma as far as I know. So, getting feedback on a product is not ideal for Miro.
