Overall Satisfaction with Miro

Leverage Miro to perform:
1. Goal setting workshops with leaders and managers
2. Learning and development course design (needs analysis, identify learning objectives)
  • Ice breakers
  • Goal setting workshops
  • Course design (5 Whys)
  • Brainstorm (Rose, Bud, Thorn) and Affinity Clustering
  • Workflow mapping with remote team members
  • Retrospectives
  • More tempaltes with focus on learning and development course design.
  • Integrate Miro canvas onboarding video (so presenter doesn't have to onboard)
  • Improved productivity - fast to gain agreement using canvas tools.
  • Improve development "Sticky-ness". Move from formal to social learning, allowing the learning to stick.
  • Improved innovation. Tool allows us to generate more ideas levering diverse viewpoints.
Miro whiteboard gives our team members the opportunity to raise their voice, when they may not have that capability in in-person or remote audio only meetings. This helps to increase engagement for the team member and helps our organization achieve it's inclusive workplace culture goals.

It gives us a fairly intuitive and easy-to-use tool that enables us to move from discussing challenges to discussing challenges and ideating potential solutions. We can't do this easily in a Zoom call.

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

Miro was much easier to design within that Luma workplace. I also found it much easier to onboard new users to Miro than the Luma canvas.

The LUMA workplace had more training modules to help me understand which design thinking. technique could be used on their white board.
Zoom, Navisite Productivity and Collaboration (Microsoft Office 365 and MDM), Microsoft SharePoint
Well suited
-Ice breakers
-Ideation, human centric design
-Giving introverts a voice in a culture (US) dominated by extroverts.

Less appropriate:
-Good for 1-2 hour learning workshops, not for full day workshops. (Courses need a mix of white board, theory, and video interaction).
-Need more ideas on how to pivot when ideation activities starts to slow, lose energy, or generate conflict.
