Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • We are more efficient in task management.
  • We don't know about the business global objectives.
  • All the teams knows how their teammates are doing.
We use it as our team task report tool. We use it every day in the design team. The UX and the UI team uses it to organize the tasks and to assign new ones. We also use it to define our hours expended and the project status. We don't share our info with other departments, we use it only to organize ours because the other departments are technical and they use other tools.

  • Easy way to view the summary ours expended per role.
There are a few things that are not very intuitive. The first one, for example, is that the expand and contract icon and the submenu icon is a little bit confusing. The contract icon only appears on hover, but it seems the first icon on the row, but no, that arrow is the submenu. To move a task, it will be more intuitive with drag and drop, now you need to select and then click on the move icon, and open the window. It is not an easy way.
We haven't used the support contact many times, but I know it is still there and is useful to have it. But for the moment, we never needed it. Maybe if there is a chat that could answer quick questions instead of sending an email to support or quick FAQs to solve doubts. However, in general, we never use it so it's difficult for to me rate this.
In general, it works very well. It is not common to have performance problems. We use it every day and it works. Maybe we only have a few troubles with the charts, to turn the tables on different type of views, that sometimes is not correct and we need to add info or do it in another way.

For me, the best scenario is to manage a project or a team because is very useful to manage tasks. But on the other hand, maybe it is not very useful for a big team because it needed more automatisms, now the tables and all benefits are created by the user, so it's difficult sometimes to profit well.
