monday.com is used to organise our high volume workflow in our accounting firm. With up to 500 jobs active at any time, it helps us to track the progress of jobs, the correspondence that has been sent to clients, due dates, invoicing and also track the jobs that are yet to be done so we can control the workflow and have a better understanding of how much work our team members have at any given time.
  • It is user friendly, training new employees to use the software is a breeze.
  • Exporting data, this is crucial for our reporting systems and monday.com makes it simple.
  • Colour palettes make it easy and satisfying to look at.
  • I would love to see integration with Xero.
  • I would like a function to see email updates in a bigger and easier to read window.
  • An easier function for setting reminders.
With a spreadsheet similarity, it is very intuitive if you have even basic computer skills. Particularly when there is room for error (i.e. an undo delete button). I find the contrasting colours make it very easy to look at and navigate. Some software is simply difficult to read because of the layout, format, colours, etc. but this is not the case with monday.com.
I honestly have not needed customer support many times because it is so user friendly but when I have needed support, it has always been received in a timely manner and with a kind and friendly tone and the problem was resolved quickly. The training videos and support lookup are generally helpful enough to figure out an issue without needing additional help.
There was one recent outage that lasted a couple of minutes. When I looked at the status page, the last outage was 4 months prior with an average working rate of 99.9%. I was highly impressed by this as most other software we use has down time on a regular basis.

It is well suited for tracking tax returns and other accounting and bookkeeping tasks progress, date in, date finalised, whether they are invoiced or not and whether they have been lodged or not.
We have used monday.com to track our in office footy tipping competition scores.
Our team members have set up private boards to track their own personal goals and to do lists when it comes to their studies.
