We are using Monday.com across organization for NPI, data management workflows and other projects to manage tasks efficiently. The tool gives us very good visibility on the status of a task / project and gives clear accountability & ownership to individual task owners to work in an agile way. The tool is very [easy] to use and we can literally set up a project board in a matter of minutes and get started and build on top using the platform.
- Ability to setup project boards quickly
- Automations to save time on mundane actions in a project board
- Effective communication and notifications to execute a task
- Logging of actions for traceability
- Dashboards are simplistic. Need more functions to build complex graphical visualizations
- Need ability to select multiple values of status column in forms and automations
- Need ability to use formula columns in automations
- Integration with MS teams can be better and permissions for 3rd party app integrations should be regulated to enable better data privacy
The performance is up to the mark as long as you have decent internet connection. We have gone to extreme cases where we used around 400 automations in a single project board and still able to use without any issue. Overall we never had any major downtime as well. The service is generally reliable.
