Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use Monday.com to organize tasks, projects, & workflows for our entire organization. We have many other systems we use integrated, Google Drive, Google SAML, Slack, and automation, and many, many more. It allows for coordination amongst remotely deployed team members and is very customizable. They keep adding new functionality, and we keep deriving value from the product.
  • Custom Data
  • Automations
  • Granular Permissions
  • Monday.com Consultants are expensive
  • Building relationships between boards needs improvement
  • If Monday.com is your first attempt to organize, a positive ROI is easy to achieve
  • If you already have something in place, it's hard to say Monday.com will be better for you
  • Monday.com is always adding new features, so a problem it can't solve today can potentially be solved tomorrow.
Monday.com is very easy to use at a basic level for most users, for whom it's an advanced, group-shared spreadsheet. More advanced workflows/integrations may not be within the capability of many users, but that is true of any 'no code' solution that still requires an understanding of data types and logic flows. Building a solution for your business on Monday.com will be limited the user's skillset.
I have never needed to contact customer support for Monday.com and cannot speak to response times. We are not Enterprise users at this time.
Monday.com has only had one brief outage in my time as a user, that I noticed anyway. It works as designed -- but there are limitations that prevent these types of tools from fulfilling their potential. So far, they have avoided the dreaded "upgrade barrier" something that requires that you rebuild what you have in order to take advantage of new features, which is challenging and admirable -- and a win for every user. If they can manage to sustain their pace of innovation and maintain that, the sky is the limit for the Work OS.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

No

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

Monday.com is a step up from tracking things in Google Spreadsheets and has the potential to be a Work OS, but you must do much of the "code-free" building. Also, there are often things you think you should be able to do, but you cannot. Subitems are an interesting example, they are only one level deep and aren't accessed the same way as parent items.
