Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

We use monday.com for various purposes. The main purpose is to organize and drive all of our production workflow. We do high volume photography for schools and need to provide multiple service items to the schools after photos are taken. First of all, switching to monday.com allowed us to go paperless with all of the orders needed to provide these service items to our schools. If a photo date changes, we set it up so all of the service item due dates change automatically as well. We have numerous notifications to remind us when orders are due. We also use monday.com to keep track of HR, customer reviews, QC reviews, client account details and various other analytic reports.
  • The automations and notifications are very easy to set up and helpful to remind people when things are due
  • I appreciate the various filters and ways you can display various boards and information
  • The forms are a great way to collect information
  • I feel like the formulas are a little tricky to learn, but it's probably because I don't use them that often.
  • We used to have the ability to search an entire board for an email or word, but it recently set up restrictions to limit the number of searchable columns. I wish it would go back to being able to search the entire board.
  • monday.com allowed us to discontinue a legacy program that was not working adequately anyway. This allowed us to reduce software programming costs.
  • monday.com allowed us to go paperless. In the past, our team would have binders full of tickets/orders and it was very easy to misplace those papers.
  • monday.com allowed us to build our team and make error-proof systems for new people to take higher roles with consistent results.
I love monday.com but I think the formulas are a bit confusing. I know it has a lot more potential that we are not using, but you have to figure out that potential on your own. It would be nice if there was some sort of account manager to help guide you. The support team is responsive by email but sometimes you really want an actual person to assist, which I believe costs more.
I have almost always received very quick responses and appreciate that.
I've already answered this in previous questions, but monday.com drives our workflow by allowing us to set due dates on various tasks and send notifications when those tasks are due. It also helps our team work more efficiently. When one item is due, you can knock out various items that are similar because you see it all in one place.

If your company involves multiple orders based on a specific date, monday.com is great. You can set up all of the order due dates to adjust accordingly once you set the original date. It is also perfect for reminding people of tasks that are due. You can set up recurring reminders for items that need attention and are not completed by their due date.
