Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It's used across a few departments - shared by Marketing, Customer Success, and in-house consultants. It's most frequently used for training users of our product, but the more heavily marketed webinars are used for marketing or branding purposes.

Pros and Cons

UI makes the webinars far more interactive than any platform I've interfaced with.
Reporting, while it isn't my primary use case, can be very useful for lead-gen and nurture.

Customer Support - the customer support reps are often very calloused and are not personable at all. Often times I'll come with a problem and leave a chat with more questions than answers.
Screen-Sharing - the interface is clunky and makes transitions from slides/video to screen share very rocky.
Uploading videos can be pretty nightmarish - the parameters are strict and pretty inflexible.

Reliability and Availability

I've had one outage, and it happened to be during a very heavily attended webinar with a partner company. Other than that, the platform itself has been reliable, and outages, while they do happen, are thoroughly communicated.

Alternatives Considered

I do not evaluate other softwares and that's the marketing department.

Likelihood to Recommend

For training, there is a lot of potential, but the clear primary use case for the webinars in On24 is for Lead Gen. As someone who's running up to 10 webinars a week, the tool is not made for scalability. That said, for deliberate, marketed webinars, the tool is very useful.
