Overall Satisfaction with ON24

ON24 is globally used by my company to manage live and on-demand webinars. It is an interactive way to go through technical content and make sure it is visually explained to our audience.
  • Lead generation
  • Analytics: a clear view of attendee dropout, engagement, etc.
  • Consistency: never crashes or disappoints in any technical way.
  • Sim Live: smooth transition
  • Slide per slide recording: this can be very difficult to inexperienced speakers.
  • Recording via phone: call center audio quality, we should be able to capture audio from our computers.
  • Webcam recording: ideally we'd like to see the speaker.
ON24 integration with Salesforce: quick lead routing and attendee status update. ON24 integration with Wordpress: quick attendee information routing. I do miss integration with Eloqua, however. We could really use that in our marketing funnel.
  • Attendee/speaker Q&A interaction is quite positive for customers to connect with us.
  • Exceedingly fast lead routing guarantees our leads will be contacted shortly by our sales team.
  • Easy platform to navigate when educating new speakers/presenters.
  • Enable sales follow-up
Never had a problem with ON24. It consistently delivers when other random streaming software failed us, and badly. It's also available 24/7 when it comes to support, which is excellent since I am based in Brazil and timezones are messy.
ON24 has been able to keep up with surge in demand for live, simlive and on-demand webinars. However, technically speaking, phone recording and slide-by-slide recording are still impediments to streamline webinar production, as they prove to be very time intensive to get a recording without any blips or mistakes, and phone audio quality is still very limited, sometimes even incomprehensible depending on where the speaker is calling from.
Zoom Webinars provides webcam availability, which we use for the many sessions we answer with live audio and live video. ON24 is the more universal approach for webinar streaming since usually we don't do webcams or live audio.
GoToWebinar also presents issues in live webinars, as slides lag and the speaker has to keep up with the slide speed. This generated an awful live online event experience, and speech patterns end up being crooked, and the speakers often sound confused or agitated by the lag.
ON24 provides the ability to quickly customize and test, and it is very user-friendly for the organizer. However, as I previously mentioned, speaker-experience still proves to be broken and difficult, and phone recording capabilities have proven to be very limited (myself and my speakers are based outside the US, and we call their toll-free international number for recording).
Well suited: Trainings, seminars, presentations. Less appropriate: Live audience interaction (video), good audio streaming.

ON24 and Communications During a Pandemic

ON24 is a very user-friendly tool for organizers, as we can quickly arrange live, sim-live and on-demand webinars (and get all the analytics you could possibly think of - attendee engagement, Survey, Q&A, among other features).
However, it doesn't prove to be as friendly for speakers and presenters, as the recording process is done on a slide-by-slide basis, which means a single blip forces speakers to redo the whole slide. I find ON24 is missing a more seamless recording process centered around the speaker and the speaker experience.
