Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We are using ON24 for our webinars and online events, primarily in marketing. It allows us a platform with multiple modules to have a customizable viewing experience.

  • General platform setup.
  • Could use a more modern design/UX.
  • Better more seamless integration with Marketing automation or CRM.
  • Multi-webinar events requires an extra add on for their Engagement Hub.
  • Lead gen.

Yes, our in person events have shifted to online, at least temporarily. I do think we will continue some of these after the pandemic, but I don't think virtual offers the same level of connection, engagement or relationship building that premium in person events can offer. They are great for maintaining existing relationships though, informing your audiences and also are much easier to track than an in person event.
I think that ON24 isn't as easy to integrate with MAP as I would hope. Although I don't think there is a competitor who has done a great job at this yet either. Would be nice if parts of this "just worked" with MAP, instead it is highly customizable and something you need to integrate with for each event and make sure everything is working properly. This is great if you have the resources to build everything you need and ensure proper setup each time. But can be difficult for small teams to manage and get full 2-way integration of data.
For one-off events where extensive integration with other platforms is not needed or not available OR where there is a highly technical and organized team to ensure effective integration. It can be difficult when you are between those two situations. That said, the actual event experience is great and there are a variety of tools and customization options. As I mentioned earlier, the design UX of the platform does come across as a bit dated, but still is workable. Occasionally there are issues in ON24, but these are almost resolved quickly by the user refreshing their page.
