Overall Satisfaction with OneDrive
I use OneDrive to keep a unified storage solution across my computers. I can keep a backup of everything on my phone, and share documents between my computers flawlessly. It also helps a lot to be able to access files from my computer that are outside of the OneDrive folder in case I accidentally forget to back it up.
- Cross-device sharing. It quickly syncs and is very useful if you use multiple devices.
- Backing up phones. It automatically backs up every picture I take and makes it accessible on my computers.
- Syncing. It would be useful to have a force-sync button for when you quickly need access to a file you just uploaded.
- It has had a positive return on investment, I currently store 4.71 gb of files easily.
- Google Drive and Dropbox
OneDrive is on the same tier as Google Drive, except it has less storage capacity. However, I chose to use OneDrive because of the entire-computer access when using the web app. Against Dropbox, OneDrive is superior as it is more integrated and flawless to use; it is very useful to sync projects between computers compared to Dropbox's more web-oriented interfaces.
