Use Cases and Deployment Scope

OwnCloud is used as a way to upload, managed, and access documents across the district, especially when we are not in the same building. It is used across our organization and also used in our department.

Easy to upload and download documents
Easy and efficient to use
Easy to organize

I haven’t come across many issues.

Return on Investment

Positive in that it provides and easy and quick way to view and share documents

Alternatives Considered

This is another alternative to Google Drive as well, but less able to edit and use documents.

Google Drive, SurveyMonkey

Likelihood to Recommend

I have a giant Excel spreadsheet and a Notebook document I use to upload for someone else to look at. They are able to download and look at it as if we were sharing the same screen. I appreciate being able to upload large documents and not having to send it through an email in a compressed or Zip file.
