Overall Satisfaction with Paycor
Our business uses Paycor on a daily ongoing basis from employees clocking in and out via the app and the web portal. We also utilize the Time Accrual system for PTO procesing, Benefits Administration platform as well as the Scheduling platform. Our business is in Higher Education, so we also employee approximatley 500 students, Paycor allows the timekeeping process to be as smooth and minimal as possibly. Prior to Paycor, we use to process over 600 paper timesheets manually. Our business also struggled with our Open Enrollment process and administrating our benefits. The Benefits platform has really advanced that process and has taken it to a whole new level.
Pros
- Paycor listens to their customers needs very well and addresses concerns immediately.
- Paycor is continuously looking for Innovative ways to improve their platforms. For example the new tracking system for Paycor Support.
- Paycor communicates and updates customers on upcoming updates often.
Cons
- The Time Accrual platform has lots of room for improvement. Employees should be able to accurately track their time off and it should not be confusing as to how their time is calculated. The submitted upcoming Time Off Requests should also be allowed to edit and make changes. They should not have to delete their requests and start over.
- The "NEW" timecard view does not function appropriately with some errors. In particular with "punch out of bounds" errors. The managers cannot view these errors to correct them, they have to toggle back to the old view in order to acknowledge them.
- The Benefit's platform could use some improvement with different fiscal years and calendar years. When our employees make an election for a retirement contribution the system cannot decipher between our fiscal year (July 1) and the calendar year calculations.

- Improved employee experience for Open Enrollment process, going from paper timesheets to an online portal to elect their benefits.
- Allowed for HR Staff to utilize their time more effeciently with the online Onboarding process.
