Use Cases and Deployment Scope

As an HR Manager, Paylocity is used on a daily basis for the purposes of onboarding new employees, troubleshooting and helping our employees nagivate the system, running payroll, inputting benefits, salary changes, adjustments to payroll deductions, and terminating employees.
While Paylocity attempts to provide innovative products, the basic customer service has been less than desired.

The onboarding process is smooth and user friendly. Simplifies the process electronically allowing employees to complete paperwork before their start date.

Paylocity provides a robust system that meets all HR needs. In my experience, a pain point has been receiving timely and accurate customer service. An example of this occurred when attempting to update our employee benefit premiums. Was informed by customer account representatives that I could do this manually, however after several emails, phone calls, and attempts, learned their was a configuration change and these changes were only able to be made by Paylocity. Even after the changes were made, I attempted to contact Paylocity regarding an error and received inaccurate information yet again that I was able to make these changes. This experience was incredibly frustrating and time intensive having to go back and forth.
