Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity is the HR tool we use. We use the following modules: HR & Payroll, Data Insights, Learning, Onboarding, Performance, Recognition & Rewards, Recruiting, Surveys, Time & Labor, Workflows & Documents.
  • Journal retrieval for reviews.
  • Payroll
  • Mobile access.
  • The functionality between reviewer and supervisor in the review process.
  • Reorganization of the scheduling tool. We want to schedule it not in alphabetical order but by department.
  • Reporting is wonky.
  • During the review process, being able to review journals for accurate reviews is a time saver.
  • Again, Journals make life easy and save money when we terminate someone, and we need to send all of the information to the state for review.
  • I like being able to upload documents to files. It saves room on my desk! However, I want a better way to find the uploaded documents. For example, if I want to find a document, I have to remember where I attached it. I would like all uploaded documents to go into either a singular document center or attached to each employee file.
The most straightforward example is payroll review. It is simple and obvious. I like having the tabs at the bottom of each timesheet to see activity from different viewpoints. Scheduling is still challenging, especially now that we have started using a points system. Every scheduling change throughout the week is complex, requiring multiple edits within the scheduling module that take up time. I want better practice for scheduling adjustments.
Our team likes the Impressions tool. They feel they have a platform for communication. We often use the Events portion to track training. Again, everyone can have access when necessary. They have a voice while performing self-evaluations, and they can look back at their performance over time.

Do you think Paylocity delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Paylocity's feature set?

Yes

Did Paylocity live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Paylocity go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Paylocity again?

Yes

I have already suggested Paylocity. One of its benefits is the accessible toggle between departments, so we can track actual sales per labor hour by department. However, for a start-up with fewer than 10 employees, Paylocity may be too much of a tool.
