Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
We use Paylocity basically for keep track of our employees Personal information, hire date, salary and then also for running payroll. Payroll consists of the time sheets as well as the processing of payroll each pay period. We are able to keep track of certain cost codes in order to bill grants as well as time off etc.

- Supervisor Approval is clear and concise
- Accrued time is difficult to track and understand
- Sometimes the same information is different on different pages/modules
- more one on one time especially during implementation
- Taken time off of the HR dept and more responsibility and tracking must come from Supervisors
- Easier to get demographic data updated by each individual vs. the HR Dept
- The Time off Requests/Balance could be GREAT if I felt it was always up to date
It has freed up time for our one man HR Dept. We went from paper to Paylocity. The platform is super easy to use and now HR doesn't have to add up hours by hand, or calculate different deductions by hand. And it's so much easier to have the automatic deductions and you can schedule those for one time to every time.
We haven't utilized them as we should/can, but that is a goal in the future to make sure that we utilize the Community especially more. We already have a system in place for recognitions, etc.
We honestly had a program that only kept track of our Demographics, salaries, etc. then all of our Payroll was done on paper with paper leave slips etc. When I saw Paylocity, I was very excited about how easy it is/would be to use. [...] Our Paylocity rep that I spoke to was super GREAT in the explanation of Paylocity and I didn't even shop around much.
