Overall Satisfaction with Procore
The type of projects that I use Procore for are structural construction, mainly for commercial structures and sometimes large residences. The main problem that Procore has helped us address is that it has united most of our data in one location and we do not need to rely on different software/programs to do the job. When you have that, everything flows more smoothly.
- Connects your drawings to their respective details.
- Keeps records of older plans or revisions and one can compare them to the new ones.
- When you tag a section cut on plans to the page of the section cut, it would help if when you select that tag the page that you are directed to is zoomed in on the exact section cut that you are looking for, because some pages have multiple section cuts.
- Sometimes we have tag many documents that pertain to one page in the plans and that can get chaotic. it would help if there was a drop-down to one of the sides of the page that had all the documents that can be attached to it.
- Saves time because most of your data is in one place.
- Increases collaboration.
We are in the process of collaborating with Hilty and its inventory software. However, this has not been implemented yet.
It helps with keeping up with the schedule. It makes us look good with our customers because we are able to keep track of our deadlines.
There really is nothing like Procore, so I don't have anything I can really compare it to.
