It is being used by our department. We use it to manage our intranet and public website.

Sitefinity has its quirks but overall stacks up pretty favorably. Their tech support could be increased.
[Sitefinity Progress is well suited for an] enterprise level organization. May not be suitable for a personal website as there is a bit of a learning curve.
