Prophix is being used for corporate financial budgeting, as well as month-end financial reporting and analysis. All corporate, branch and discipline leads use the data from Prophix for review. Prophix has helped to streamline the budgeting process and also allows for quick updates to monthly reports and annual forecasts.
- Ease of data access - Prophix makes actual data easy to access and use in many ways.
- Streamline processes - Prophix is great at helping to streamline processes and ensure good calculations.
- Quick updates - Prophix allows for quick updates for monthly reporting, etc.
- Report templates - All reports have to be built and without proper training they can be difficult to start.
- Forecast updates could be a bit more streamlined if you had better access to updating current financial versions.

I no longer use excel at all to do our budgets! Prophix has integrated our personnel and financial data in to one system for easy access to make adjustments, review and update for budgeting!
We import data from two other disparate systems with ease. Prophix runs an automatic process nightly that is very efficient for updates.
The deployment flexibility is important because it allows companies to make individual decisions regarding IT structure and investments.

We did purchase premium support. I prefer to ensure I have full access to a dedicated support team and any learning tools available on short notice. The premium support includes many items of use, especially if you are a new user that is still learning.
