Overall Satisfaction with Quick Base

Across the entire organization, which is growing exponentially. Quick Base is nimble and easy to setup/use. Initially, we used it to be a central reference but now we are using it for process flows. Looking forward, we are integrating it with other applications to reduce the number of systems the user must access.
  • Users with basic spreadsheet experience can quickly and easily get started
  • Security is controlled simply
  • Customizable dashboards
  • Reports only allow for one formula field, so often tables have many added fields to compensate.
  • Relationships between tables are both easy and confusing...
  • Sometimes the "view as" works a little wonky. Or what I see when using the option isn't exactly what the user sees.
We have successfully integrated data from other systems, eliminating certain redundancies. In our very fast growing company, we are able to keep up because of QB. We continue to build integration with other systems, so we haven't fully achieved our goal of seamless integration... But then again as long as we grow we will never be done.
QB all builders should be able to create a spreadsheet and perform basic formulas. More importantly, staff should understand work processes and office workflow.
  • Building and deploying business applications faster
  • Improving our ability to drive insights from our data
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
We constantly find new ways to use the program but certainly, we have achieved the initial goals.
I pulled in a calendar app and updated it for a scheduler. It took about an hour as it was my very first time. Still using it 2 years later.
It works very well in smoothing out processes and workflows by removing redundancy and providing ragtime data to anyone in the organization. Some of the things I wouldn't have recommended it for 18 months ago are no longer an issue... For example, accounting, form fills, and email management. I'm not sure there isn't anything QB can't handle.
