Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase

So in my industry where we use it, basically it goes from cradle to grave. So we do it from sow generation, proposals, services, and projects, all the way through to the end of a lifecycle of a project. So archival sample disposition, and then we follow the lifecycle throughout. So any QC review, QA review, all kinds of things, inventory for reagents, these are laboratory settings. so human resources, a kind of sky's the limit. We have about a 12-app base.
  • The connectability of data. So just being able to put almost, I would probably say 90% of the information in your contract and then know that flows through the rest of the applications, it's critical.
  • The Pipelines user interface could be improved greatly. it's kind of clunky and bulky. It would be really great just to be able to type everything out that you needed. I, you know, the switch from automation to pipelines, like it's good and bad. I think it could do more things and be more powerful. I know there are some errors that have happened. That's probably the number one thing.
  • I will say that the, the price per user, it can be a pretty big hump. I think if there's one thing that could be improved, it would be allowing unlimited users for an organization for a set price annually or however long. Because when we get into companies and we start doing testing, we might have 25, 30 people that start using it, and then we have to expand to their entire company. Right. And sometimes that number's in the thousands. And to have a per seat head count, you know, it's, it's not really scalable. And I think it, I think it can kind of limits what smaller companies can do.
So, especially in the industry that I come from, everything was on Excel spreadsheets. There's lots of different information from Salesforce and data that are in limb systems and things like that. Everything was very disconnected. It's super time-consuming, and data's inaccurate. So I think we've achieved that.
I've never used anything that does quite what QuickBase does, not something that's fully integrated with everything else.

Do you think Quickbase delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Quickbase's feature set?

Yes

Did Quickbase live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Quickbase go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Quickbase again?

Yes

I think every industry and every company could use something like this in whatever facet. I think the more complicated an industry is and the more departments a project has to touch, the better suited QuickBase is for it. If you really only need one app in one table, you're not gonna need the platform. But I say the more complicated the better.
