Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced

QuickBooks Online Advanced is utilized in the day-to-day accounting for the business. The product's seamless integration to our AP and Corporate Credit Card platforms has helped to simplify and streamline our month-end close process. Investing in this tool helped us move from outsourcing our accounting needs to managing them all in-house.

Pros

  • Integration in to 3rd party tools
  • Simple reconciliation tools, help identify issues earlier.
  • The customizability of the chart of accounts helped to fit the software to meet the different needs of our business.

Cons

  • More efficient customer support. There have been incidents where I have been bounced to and from the same departments while trying to resolve an issue.
  • Continued integration into 3rd party software would help drive continued efficiency.
  • Our business has a better handle on outstanding invoices
  • We are quickly able to identify vendors where we are spending the most money
I was not part of the implementation process with my company, but from what I heard it was generally a seamless transition. We were able to populate our previous financials into QuickBooks and continue working almost immediately. Our company is remote and having a platform that we can share simultaneously has improved our communication.
Our organization is primarily remote with our finance employees working from coast to coast. Having a tool that is updated live has allowed for a better understanding of the day-to-day financials and to know what tasks remain outstanding. We have been able to streamline responsibilities and have had more time to dive into specific trends within the organization.
QuickBooks Online Advance fulfills our accounting needs. For our business, we create and distribute invoices. Doing this through QuickBooks Online has simplified the process and its integration with our AP software has made it so we are able to quickly turnaround, and track, invoices. I would attribute this to reducing our AR collection timeframe.

With the adoption of QuickBooks Online, we have been able to move from outsourcing our accounting needs to bringing them in-house. The platform provides a user-friendly experience that helped reduce errors that were previously common. Much of this comes from the inherent reconciliation tools which have helped to reduce errors and speed up the month-end close process. The software also integrates with AP and Credit Card platforms that we currently use with a seamless transition of data between the two.
