Sage Intacct works great for us!
Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is being used mainly by our accounting department to track our finances and create reports. Members of our management team can access dashboards to track their department's budgets. This helps the management team to be more involved with keeping track of their spending throughout the year.
Pros
- Creating custom reports to track our revenue and spending the way we want to view it.
- We are able to store scans of documents to help us on our way to becoming paperless.
Cons
- The bank reconciliation feature is very outdated and cumbersome.
- The report writer would be nice if it was a little more user-friendly.
- Sage Intacct has allowed for more visibility and transparency of numbers by allowing department managers access to customized dashboards. This cuts back on time our finance team has to spend creating and sending reports to other departments.
Our organization does not use Sage Intacct for order management but the automation of general ledger, AP and AR have greatly benefited out organization. It allows us to have more time to focus on getting things done in our department and not having to worry that things arent being completed correctly.
We use project accounting to track all of the trade shows our marketing and sales teams attend. Previously, we had to track everything in a spreadsheet and it became very time consuming and cumbersome and not always a very accurate representation of what was spent. Now with the Project module we can pull reports on each of the trade shows to easily see what was spent and if we went over/under budget.
