Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We are using Sage Intacct in our accounting dept as well as across all depts for invoice/contract review and sign off.
Pros
- Purchase req to purchase order process
- Simple use & update of financial reports
- Dashboards for users to access information quickly
Cons
- Approval reminders.
- Edit PO.
- Custom reports are not easy to create.
- Easier way to create smart rules/events.
- Sage Intacct has been a time saver in the accounting dept (purchasing, accounts payable, general ledger) as well as across all depts. We are able to close our books faster on a monthly basis.
Our company has benefited from these core financial processes. Invoices are being approved electronically as opposed to emailing the approvers with additional documents attached for approvers to access. Journal entries are also being reviewed electronically. Financials are automatically updated once the close is done which makes compiling the financial statements much quicker and allow us to spend more time reviewing. Overall, our monthly close has been accelerated compared to using our previous system.
We do not use any of these advanced modules.
Cloud-based and easy transition from Quickbooks, but with the capabilities of adding products/services as we grow.
