Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

It is being used for ordering medical supplies. We began using it about a year ago. We switched from a different program to make it easier on the purchasing dept. We don't necessarily use it to address any business problems but to stock our supplies. To my knowledge, we don't use it for anything else.

  • Requires training to figure out how to find items
  • Finding items isn't the easiest
  • It sometimes requires funny symbols for item lookup
  • Having a list to choose from with photos
  • It has been easier on the purchasing dept.

  • I have always received returns in a timely manner
That end of things is taken care of by our purchasing dept which is in another location. I do know that we switched to this program from whatever we were using before to make things easier on their end of things. From my understanding, it has made things easier for them although I prefer the program we used before.
I have not used any other modules that the program has to offer, therefore, I am not familiar with them. Perhaps they are something that [is] used by my supervisor? Because I work in the clinic setting, I am only required to order supplies for the office, anything else goes through the purchasing dept supervisor.
The vendor provided a video for training and a printout of instructions. I did not watch the video as I prefer to go through it and learn as I go. I did use the printout of instructions to guide me through and I was able to quickly figure it out but it's not the easiest to find items and the search bar sometimes requires trying different symbols for lookup.

I didn't select it. I was told that's what we were using by our administration dept. I was also told we were switching to this in order to make things easier for them, not for me, which makes sense because the program we used before was much easier than this program.
It is set up to be user-friendly but searching for items isn't the easiest process. I have learned to keep a list of items and their corresponding numbers for an easier search. The last site we used for ordering supplies had a much easier search bar with photos of the items so that I always knew I was ordering the correct item instead of hoping I receive what I want.
