Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Intacct for all of our billing processes. Quarterly and Monthly invoices are sent through here, as well as all receivables and services. It addresses the issues of having several account interfaces created, and allows us all to access every account without issues.
  • Stores data
  • Convenient interface for storing clients within different parts of the company
  • Templates for invoices
  • No ability to edit existing invoices. They must be deleted or retracted, then the process must begin again. For example. If a bill a client 29.99, but I receive 29.97 because of settling issues, I cant go modify the initial invoice, and have to go through all these hoops to fix the issue
  • I wish I had a way to view all invoices in one place, without having to search by client, based on data recently entered. This could just be a lack of education on my part as I am a new user.
  • There are too many steps to do basic functions. I came from quickbooks which was highly intuitive and easy to use. This is just too large for what I use it for, and I cannot seem to navigate it easily.
  • Still trying to determin
  • It makes my work load more cumbersome and monotonous.
  • I do like being able to see all clients across all departments within one system
We use Sage Intaact in my department for creating all invoices and receiving all payments toward said invoices. The upload process and templates that we have created for the invoices have streamlined our billing process significantly. I do wish that we had the capability to edit an existing invoice, without having to delete the work we had done initially. I billed a client and was later told that there was an agreement to change the amount we charged. It would be so nice to go in and just edit that invoice then resend it.
This is not something that I am using in my department at the moment.
It was done by our company, and the ease of use has not been ideal, as we have been offered no formal training- but that is not your fault.

Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?

No

Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Sage Intacct again?

No

I believe that my previous questions and responses adequately answer this question. The software just has too many steps and rules for easy day-to-day use. It is not something I would ever pick for my own company, but again, I need to go through better training to figure out what I am doing that makes steps so difficult.
