Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

I am the market leader of a billable rate consulting department, so it is to track my and my staff's time, monitor project billing, etc.

  • Creating a dashboard of functionality and reports
  • Creating default reports
  • Enables me to manage and monitor billable time for myself and staff
  • Enables me to monitor cost of billable time on client project work
I don't use these functions.
I use time and expense management. All staff in my department enter time weekly, plus expenses as generated. I approve my staff's timesheets and am easily able to review, comment on, approve and/or decline their time entries. I use contract revenue management and spend management. I am able to easily pull reports by staff, date, etc. to monitor time and fees posted against client contracted work.
I have not been involved in [configuring] Sage, but give feedback to the architect of the system.

We evaluated a custom design tool in the Microsoft platform, which wasn't successful.
It's not very intuitive, so training is needed for any new use. And it needs to be used often to retain the understanding of its functionality. It's not predictive in its analysis, so only captures points in time using historical data.
