Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Our organization uses Sage Intacct in different divisions of our organization. We use the software for our financial records and for financial reporting. Sage Intacct has been very helpful in its customization in the way information is imported and presented within the system. We had some issues with implementation but we were able to overcome challenges with custom reporting and dashboards. We wanted to have very clear visibility into our data and Sage Intacct has done a fantastic job of providing this.

Sage Intacct Automation

I have found that the general ledger and accounts payable automations to be very helpful within our day to day processes. Within the Accounts Payable module, we are easily able to post payments/bills that appear in the reconciliation more quickly than they would with a traditional journal entry posting.

Sage Intacct Extensibility

I have not used these modules.

Sage Intacct Configuration

We worked with a third party consultant to implement Sage Intacct and found it very beneficial to have them setup the functionality of Sage Intacct. We found that we needed several custom reports and the consultant team was helpful in setting up these reports and understanding the roles setup for users in the system.

Alternatives Considered

I have utilized Infor Lawson in my career and have enjoyed both Lawson and Sage. I believe that Sage Intacct's simplicity and effectiveness are very useful and I am happy to use Sage on a daily basis. I like the way that the modules are setup in Lawson but it is very easy to understand the processes within Sage.

Likelihood to Recommend

I have found that the cash management module is very helpful when working with one bank account at a time. It is very well streamlined to allow for easy access to see what is currently outstanding in the account and what still needs to be researched/added. I think it would be more beneficial if we were able to review multiple months at a time but that is currently unavailable within Sage currently.
