Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is used as our primary ERP system. We are going to have 2 proprietary systems that work with Intacct that will handle Purchase Orders and Payments that will include OSV technology to streamline the process. We use it for budgeting, P&L and general entry and cash reconciliation.
- General Ledger Reports
- Reversals
- Editing Entries
- Attachments to add onto Entries
- Permission Issues on Top Level and Entity Level
- Making importing entries easier
- Entry is easier to correct
- Data Migration has been difficult
- More Efficient/Modern
We have no benefitted yet, however we are currently experimenting with Match Rules to simplify bank reconciliations in the future. We are also going with the understanding that AMEX Recs will be easier as well.

Sage 100 is the previous system used. It tended to crash and was slow to create certain reports needed for financials like Profit & Loss. Attachments had to be saved as a separate PDF along with the original Journal Entry. it created a lot of tedious manual work that took up a lot of time over the typical work week.
