Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Main usecase for HR IT is to have all integrations from SuccessFactors to SAP HCM via BTP \ Integration Suite.
Scope: Standard iFlows and several custom ones.

improved connectivity between sap successfactors and HCM \ 3rd party

even if its a bit overloaded and there is some space for improvement in terms of UX, BTP is very flexible and offers a lot of possiblites. Once you know how to handle BTP its quite easy to build apps, to bring processes together and to integrate with other apps.

Support Rating

We ware not able to deploy iflows / integrations. It always failed and we found out that there is a restart of the tenant needed. we contacted sap to do so, and after 2 days they were informing us that the tenant needs to be restarted, which we knew already. We confirmed the restart and it took quite a long time to have this task executed

Likelihood to Recommend

Good: Standard iFlows provided by SAP and SAPs Partners
Improvement: some more standard connectors e.g. JSON connector which just came quite late with integration suite (ealier it was max. ODATA).
Tenant restart cannot be done by customer. In my view this should be allowed since going through sap support takes some time for a quite easy and fast task.

BTP. Great tool, a lot of possibilites
