Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We don't currently use SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) but we are in discussions to implement it to simplify the master data management. As we work in a retail company, we have to manage hundreds of thousands of products each season. Currently, creating and updating this master data takes too much time to maintain so we need a tool to simplify and speed up the product update process.

SAP MDG is clearly focused on those organizations that have to manage a huge amount of data with several sources. It allows you to consolidate and update the data in one single place. Also, it can be used to provide data to third-party systems.
