Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ScienceLogic for monitoring purposes. As a monitoring tool, it is good, but after the recent update of SL, it has some issues as power flow takes time to sync with ServiceNow, and in Prod, it takes time to sync the Alerts, which causes multiple duplicate alerts.

Monitoring of Devices.
Log collection.

To find options on getting model ID and Serial number while using SNMP for Windows or Linux devices.
To store more amount of data on a device basis.
SL can optimize the sigterm issue by itself or can find out the exact reason on the collectors.

As an Admin I understood that SL is overall a good monitoring tool but if we compare it with Splunk or Solarwinds, It can still make changes or add more features internally in the tool itself.
