Overall Satisfaction with ConnectWise Control (formerly ScreenConnect)

We use ScreenConnect for secure, unattended remote support. We chose ScreenConnect over TeamViewer and other competing systems specifically because of functionality, but a secondary benefit is reduced operating cost, branding, and more relevant functionality.

  • ScreenConnect is so good at remote access that it literally changed my business model. I was offering remote support as a value add; it has become my primary business.
ScreenConnect is far superior to all of the other methods of remote support available. Microsoft RD requires per-machine licensing (at least for servers), SSH doesn't give full functionality, VNC servers lack security and stability, TeamViewer is insanely expensive for a comparable-to-inferior product, and Bomgar has terrible customer (B2B) support.
ScreenConnect is well-suited to remote support scenarios. I have not used it for meetings, etc.
