SharpSpring is Sharp, but Tricky...
Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring
SharpSpring is being used in the Marketing Department. We use it to send emails to customers and prospects. SharpSpring has the capability to track open emails and clicks. We can send nicely designed emails for a multitude of reasons, then track who opens and give that info to sales. SharpSpring is a great tool to use!
Pros
- Easy to design templates. We use the existing templates, then adjust them to our brand.
- You have the ability to schedule an email to send days before you want it to. Set and forget!
- It's easy to set up newsletters, event emails, etc... the look of the template is so easy to change.
Cons
- When designing the email, for the pre-existing templates, it's very difficult to change something that they have already created. For example, if you want to change the color of a line, you cannot, as it's embedded in the code.
- SharpSpring monitors content and sends lists extremely closely. For example, if after three times you send an email to someone and they don't open it, they will automatically unsubscribe that user for you. This can be frustrating because that contact is unsubscribed from all the emails you want to send them going forward... whether it be a newsletter or other.
- The contact manager is a little confusing to use... you have to click around until you can find what you want or who you want.
- We are able to send any marketing, sales or business communication to any contact at any time of the day. This is extremely useful.
- We are able to track who opens what, and what they click on. This helps us learn behaviors, as well as forward this information to our sales teams.
- The ability to track what contacts are interested in reading, and we are able to deliver content people want to read.
SharpSpring is much more dynamic in lead tracking. Constant Contact is similar in the user interface, but does not have the ability to do what SharpSpring can do. This is a much more fluid program to work well with other programs integrating sales and leads. I recommend SharpSpring over Constant Contact.
