Overall Satisfaction with Sigma Computing

We use Sigma primarily for pulling usage data. We use this data to drive internal goals/KPIs as well as to provide customers with data/information on how they are using in the tool - to drive adoption.
  • Fast.
  • Wide data range.
  • Ease of access within the browser.
  • Sometimes the data is inaccurate or out of data (this could be an issue on our end).
  • User-interface is a bit cluttered.
  • The download CSV button is hidden.
  • A better understanding of our data.
  • Customers have a better grasp on features/areas of adoption.
  • It helps the product team decide what features to invest in.
The user interface can be overwhelming/confusing but it is great that it can be accessed through your web browser.
We have very much enjoyed working with our support reps at Sigma. When we were first getting up and running, we ran into some issues (mostly on our end) and the team worked very heavily with us to resolve. They are prompt to respond and willing to work with us to discover the root of the problem.
We have not used this feature but we plan to in the near future, specifically for creating visuals for customer account reviews. We are currently using sigma data to create these visuals ourselves, as customers are more likely to engage with the data if it is in visual form. Looking forward to getting up to speed on this.
We do not use this tool in my department, but other departments within the organization might have a better use case for it. We are looking at usage data in its raw form so there is less of a need to work collaboratively on problem-solving. That said, I can see this coming in handy when rolling out new features and trying to understand how quick users are to adopt.
The speed has drastically improved since we began using the tool. I'm not sure if this is on our end or if Sigma has made improvements, but we are able to pull months and months of usage data for thousands of users in mere seconds. This is crucial because our days move at a rapid pace and we would not use a tool that added wasted time.
Yes! Pricing was a huge factor in our decision to move away from Mode to Sigma analytics. Further, our experience with sales and customer support teams confirmed our decision. The pricing model is incredibly cost-effective for our team at a small startup company. Especially since some of the team only uses the tool in a limited capacity.
We were previously using Mode, which was incredibly overpriced and the support team was difficult to get in contact with. As a very small team, we felt that our time was not important to them and that we were not big enough to get fast Support. Further, the pricing model was much higher than we needed/were willing to spend.
It is great for pulling basic usage data within a select time period. It is not great for more complex data sets.
