Overall Satisfaction with Similarweb

We are using the Similarweb data in pitching a new client. Similarweb data gives us the insights and the problems statement of the brand which can help us to drive the strategy of the brand and pitch by highlighting the problem statement and how we are solving their problems.Apart from this we are using the Similarweb for our current client to do the competition analysis:1. It provides current presence of brand with comparison of the other brand.2. Channel wise data help us in in which part our client is underperforming and competitors are ahead from us.3. Concrete segment wise data. 4. How much competitors are spending in Search and Display 5. What are the creatives and ad copies competitors are using?

  • The biggest disadvantage of Similarweb Pro is the limited amount of data it can show. It only shows the basic information about a website such as how many pages it has, how many visitors it receives, how many emails it sends, and how many ad views it has. This can be a limiting factor if you want to do advanced
  • Doesn't work well for website that has small traffic volumes. It can suggest very odd competitors to benchmark.
  • The data, particularly in terms of page view and session volume, is usually not even directionally accurate.
Overall, our experience has been great. The tool allows us to learn this about our businesses that we would have to commit lots of time and money into learning ourselves if we were without this tool.
