Overall Satisfaction with Skilljar Customer Education Software
We use it as a credential manager for our certification program. It serves as a central integration between all the other software we use to deliver a certification exam... exam delivery (Caveon), proctoring (Examity), badging (Credly), and integrates with our CRM (Salesforce). It allows you to use an identity provider such as Okta.
Pros
- Pre built Integrations
- Flexible, out of box features for minor/limited customizations
- Their custom service/support is great
Cons
- More API to make it a truly headless API
- Catalog pages that are stand alone and not just iframes inside their framework
- Ability to upload videos and point to in in catalog pages... currently only in courses
- Positive: less support issues regarding accounts
- Negative: takes longer to create an exam because we have to tie it all to Skilljar Customer Education Software
- Net Positive: but in the end, it's a better experience for the user when they create a single account and then all their accounts are created in the other system as well as being able to see their results/badges in one location
