Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I quite like Skype for Business as it helps my organization to keep in touch with anyone throughout the whole business, I can see who reports to who in the organization chart and I can use this tool on the go, without going offline even for a second. My company always uses this product for meetings.

Alternatives Considered

Slack

Slack has a highly loved functionality, the channels. This is really missing from Skype for Business, but other than that, functionality wise, they pretty much the same, and Skype for Business does a great job when it comes to communication and collaboration. The integration with other MS products makes this tool a no-brainer.

Skype for Business is an amazing communication and collaboration tool, and no wonder why so many companies and businesses chose this product for their operation. It is very well integrated with other MS products, so you can see whoever sent you an email is online or offline, you can see the same thing in Sharepoint as well, and you can always ping them from every MS product.
