Overall Satisfaction with Slido
We use Slido in our educational institution for engaging with our students/audience during online classes, lectures, meetings, events and webinars. We conduct polls and quizzes through Slido to check the understanding of our students during online classes. The students or participants can use the Q&A feature to ask doubts to teachers or hosts making the meetings interactive. Slido also helps us in gathering feedback about an event or webinar we conducted. The learning environment improves a lot when we use Slido since it ensures that the students are attentive in the classes. It eliminates various communication barriers and ensures excellent communication between hosts and participants through polls, Q&As and quizzes.
- Its integration with various Webex apps like Webex Meetings and Webex Webinars and leading softwares like Zoom and Google Slides
- Its simple user interface and eye-catching graphics
- The detailed analytics it provides of the polls and surveys conducted and the ability of exporting them
- The ability of integrating live video into Slido so participants dont have to switch tabs
- Participants can ask questions anonymously or with their names without having to unmute themselves and disturbing the flow of the meeting
- More integration options should be provided to maximize its use case
- More customisation features and templates should be added for the polls and quizzes
- More pricing plans should be introduced so we can chose the plan that suits us perfectly and is more cost-effective
- Slido helped us increase student engagement which resulted in improved academic results for our students
- The Q&A feature helped us answer questions we received from parents and audeince during live events which resulted in increased admissions in our educational institution
- The gamification of polls and surveys helped us attract a lot of audience and made the meetings interactive
- Kahoot! and Quizizz
Slido has various upsides when compared to Kahoot or Quizizz. Firstly, Slido offers live video integration so people don't have to switch tabs to interact with us during events or webinars. Secondly, Slido has multiple options like MCQs, rating and ranking for polls which increases its use case. Lastly, its user interface is way easier to navigate for the audeince and the results are in real time. The analytics provided after the meetings are also very helpful.
