Overall Satisfaction with Smartlook

It is being used by the marketing team in order to demonstrate ROI when deploying new collateral across the website and measuring how old collateral is performing across the website. The whole organization uses this information to decide what we need to improve and areas that are performing well. It's invaluable when determining what prospects are doing on our site and what information they are consuming.

  • Folders to decide where prospects can go.

Never really had to ask for support with Smartlook, the setup is simple and they never made anything too difficult to find. I am, however, an advanced user and I know they do provide online chat, email, and phone which always helps. Support like anything is best reviewed when used.
I loved the user interface, they must have used their own product to do their beta testing of it. Filtering and moving between features was simple and I never felt lost in the interface. It's much simpler than their competitors and I would rate it higher than them on most counts.
The thing about Hotjar is they became too big too fast. They forgot what their product was all about and then started to charge an exorbitant amount for what is a glorified heat map. Smartlook has taken into account new features but always kept the essence of what they're about, platform testing.

Ecommerce sites or lead generation sites will benefit from Smartlook, but that's not the only place where you can use them. If you want to test a new website design or just get a glimpse into what people are doing on your site, this is a perfect tool [that] isn't expensive.
