Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds IP Address Manager (IPAM)

SolarWinds IPAM is the way we can keep IP information in order all across the credit union. We share IPAM among a couple of groups. Although we administer it, others can view it.
  • It gives us a good reference of what we have available.
  • It allows us to reuse and use any unused IP, visualization
  • Allows some other teams to see the different IP ranges based on different subnets.
  • The edit part is tricky because it lets you select several, but only edit one .
  • A big subnet does not show on the right pane.
  • The scrolling on the bottom part of the IP address view would be nice if you could select the range.
  • Good: IP organizing is a great thing to have.
  • We do not have IP conflicts.
  • We can allow people to have read rights to get better info.
We do not have any other IP manager.
I have never used it, and I have been able to figure out SolarWinds IPAM on my own.
